10 Actors Who Should Play Future James Bond Movie Villains

This man is extremely underrated. Despite having major roles in a number of big budget films including playing Zemo in ‘Captain America Civil War’ (continued in ‘Falcon and the Winter Soldier) and Niki Lauda in Ron Howard’s ‘Rush’, Daniel Bruhl hasn’t quite become a household name yet.

Ultimately, this might be because he is almost too good at what he does, as he is basically a Chameleon and just becomes whatever character he’s playing. He fully commits to it, meaning all you see is the character he’s created rather than the actor himself.

This versatility combined with his performance as Zemo should make it clear that Daniel Bruhl would make an excellent Bond villain. He just has this cold stare that suggest that no matter what you do, he’s got a plan for it.

There are a variety of directions he could take and develop the character, but one thing being a Bond villain would allow him to do, would be to portray a more brutal and deranged personality.

This is something the Bond films seem more than ready for in fact, especially when you consider Craig’s films which have included torture scenes. Such a persona was hinted at in ‘Civil War’, but not actually shown fully.

If we were able to see both sides of the coin, the strategist and the ruthless killer while also introducing a degree of suave, Bruhl could become, if given the chance, a truly great foe to 007.
