As long as Jon Hamm remains an active actor and Batman stays on the big screen, there will be calls for him to play the Dark Knight. There's something about him that seems to suggest he's made for the role.
Perhaps it comes down to his performance as Don Draper, and how well that would translate into a new take on Bruce Wayne? He'd certainly have no trouble playing the public mask Wayne is supposed to maintain, which Affleck hasn't entirely been allowed to play with yet, unfortunately and which Christian Bale did so well with.
Plus, he has the presence and the physical stature to play a brooding Batman who wouldn't look out of place in the muscle-bound world of heroes Zack Snyder has built. And he has the acting chops to add some much needed depth to the performance
