10 Actors Who Should Replace Ben Affleck As Batman

3. Armie Hammer

Warner Bros.

Having said all of that about Farrell, if Warner Bros genuinely do want to continue the image of Batman as a sort of gentleman Dark Knight who you can smell the private school upbringing on, they could do a lot worse than hiring Armie Hammer. Sure, it might involve sabotaging their plans for Green Lantern Corps, but he'd make a far more interesting Batman than he would a ring bearer.

Hammer has of course already been hired as Batman, for the unfortunately scrapped Justice League movie that fell at the final hurdle, so he's obviously done enough to impress Warner Bros in the past. And he would definitely look the part as both Bruce Wayne and Batman, even if he is a little clean cut for what the best image of Batman has traditionally been.

But then maybe it's time for a more aloof Batman? It'd certainly work for Bruce Wayne, and a different direction would be welcome with a fresh creative approach.
