Chris Hemsworth received a ton of praise for his fun performance in the 2016 reboot of Ghostbusters, but the actor himself was terrified that he wouldn't be any good.

The role of hunky receptionist Kevin required a lot of on-set improvisation, primarily because the script didn't flesh the character out very much. Naturally, this was a major concern for Hemsworth, who touched base with director Paul Feig and was promised that Kevin would be "written up" before shooting officially began.

That didn't happen.

Nervous at the prospect of having to build this character on the fly, Hemsworth then strongly considered pulling out of the project the night before production started, but was convinced otherwise after a last-minute meeting with Feig.

Hemsworth later told Variety "I had no real plan and I just felt ridiculous, so I used that" - so his lack of preparation actually helped him in the end!

He has been writing and video editing for 10+ years, and first got a taste for content creation after making his own Doctor Who trailers and uploading them to YouTube (they're admittedly a bit rusty by today's standards). If you need someone to recite every Doctor Who episode in order or to tell you about the making of 1988's Remembrance of the Daleks, Danny is the person to ask.
