10. Robert Pattinson Was Almost Fired From Twilight For "Fighting Everybody For Control"

Whether he likes it or not, Robert Pattinson will always be best be known for his performance as broody vampire Edward Cullen in the film adaptations of Stephenie Meyer's bestselling series - a series that, in the past, he has claimed to loathe.

Still, Pattinson might not have had a career at all had he been fired from the famous role partway through shooting; while it's difficult to imagine anybody other than Pattinson bringing such high levels of gaunt sexuality to the role of ol' Ed Cullen, the actor once revealed that he was nearly sacked during the filming of Twilight.

So what could R-Patz have done to warrant a potential farewell? According to Pattinson, he was too involved and "was fighting with everybody in control all the time to the point where [he] almost got fired."

Apparently he tried to play the part so stoically - and with so much intensity - that he started to get on everyone's nerves. In the end, he gave in and lightened up a bit, presumably realising that Twilight isn't something to be taken seriously (at all).
