10 Actors Who Were Cut Out Of Movies For Ridiculous Reasons

6. Matt Smith - In Bruges

In Bruges was a surprise sleeper hit in 2008 thanks to a great cast and script; it also proved Colin Farrell could be genuinely good when given the right material. Before Matt Smith was the eleventh doctor he had a small but key role as the younger version of Ralph Fiennes character, who has a badass moment where he walks into a police station and casually beheads a corrupt detective for killing his friend's wife. It€™s a short scene but Smith performance is fantastic, and the scene would have clarified for the audience the bond between Fiennes and Brendon Gleeson. The director took it out because he felt the scene was a little over the top, which was surely the point of it to begin with. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rANwBGXt7v8

Handsome. Charismatic. Intelligent. Noble. Witty. I'm none of these things, but I'm a half decent writer, I guess.
