4. Harrison Ford - Technology Executive (Firewall)
Another unconvincing computer expert here, and this time it's in another one of those "Harrison Ford plays a character called Jack and must save his family" movies. This one is called
Firewall, and it's Godawful. Of course, Harrison Ford is an actor capable of playing all sorts of incredibly intelligent characters - archaeologists scientists, doctors, CIA agents... you name a smart profession, Harrison Ford has pulled it off. Until now. I don't know about you, but Ford doesn't strike me as a man who knows anything about computers. I'd bet money on the fact that he's a bit of a technophobe, in fact, and thinks that iPhones and the internet are "a waste of time." Which is why, perhaps, that his turn as an ultra-smart computer security expert doesn't ring true it all. Seriously: Ford delivers the bulk of his dialogue like he's just reading the words "firewall" and "server" for the first time in this one.
