10 Actors Who Were Injured In Dumb Ways On Set

10. Shia LaBeouf

Shia LaBeoufFilm(s): Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008); Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) Though many would argue that the biggest threat to Shia LaBeouf's acting career is become too heavily associated with Michael Bay, it must be said that the injuries that he has suffered on set have the potential to cut his burgeoning career short. Of course, the car accident that he suffered due to his drunken behaviour around the time of filming the second Transformers movie is the most widely reported of his scrapes. It is said that he learnt a lot from this experience, but not that the cars were taking revenge on him for the awfulness of that series of movies. But he has been the victim of a number of unfortunate incidents in the midst of filming some of his most notable outings. Whilst participating in a sword-fighting scene in the latest Indiana Jones flick, he performed a move incorrectly, slipped on the wet ground and pulled the rotator cuff on his hip. LaBeouf required constant Electronic Stimulation Therapy to ensure he completed the film. This was the first of his on-set injuries, but an incident on the set of Revenge of the Fallen was perhaps more embarrassing and potentially more serious. After returning with his hand injured following the car accident, an incident that already had held up production on the sequel, he managed to cut the top of his eye on an overhanging prop which required stitches. If that wasn't enough, he recently appeared on Letterman with his foot in a brace due to an injury he sustained whilst kick-boxing. This is a lesson that it is great to be rich, but it can be a burden if you are likely to pull a muscle carrying your own wallet.
