2. David Tennant
Oh look, it's David Tennant looking dark and broody on a beach in a promotional picture that could quite literally be from anything he has ever done. Including Doctor Who, if the Tenth Doctor ever decided to come back (again) and grow a beard. Although highly deserving of his Special Recognition accolade at this year's National Television Awards, David himself would probably be the first to admit that he will always be defined by his tenure about the TARDIS. His incarnation is one of the most iconic and recognisable of all time and his popularity probably contributed to him landing a lot of his subsequent roles, not to take anything away from his indisputable talent. That's the power of Doctor Who for you. You're guaranteed to work for the rest of your life, unless you're one of the unlucky ones...
