For the longest time, it seemed like James Franco and Seth Rogen were destined to collaborate for eternity. The two pals hit it off whilst working on NBC's Freaks and Geeks, but their on-screen chemistry first really became apparent when they joined forces for hit stoner comedy Pineapple Express.

A string of features from The Interview to The Disaster Artist would follow, with the dynamic duo front and centre, but it now seems as though that partnership has reached its conclusion.

Despite claiming that he would continue to work with his long-time friend in light of allegations made against Franco in 2018, Rogen has recently explained that he did not actually carry on their partnership professionally following those comments, telling The Sunday Times, "the truth is that I have not and I do not plan to right now."

On top of this, the allegations of sexual misconduct against Franco have affected the way the two interact away from work, with Rogen also noting that "it has changed many things in our relationship and our dynamic.”

Franco denied these allegations, which eventually led to a lawsuit that was settled in February of this year.
