5. Milla Jovovich - Hellboy

The first trailer for the upcoming Hellboy reboot didn't exactly blow people away, but at least we know that the likes of David Harbour, Ian McShane, Daniel Dae Kim, Sasha Lane and Thomas Hayden Church will give it their all.

Less encouraging is the presence of Milla Jovovich as the film's primary antagonist, the Blood Queen known as Nimue.

With a straight critical losing streak of a dozen movies, Jovovich hasn't appeared in a single critically acclaimed film since 2009's A Perfect Getaway, and as such she just might be Hellboy's bad luck charm.

Despite supposedly having a meaty villain role - meaty enough that the film was originally called Hellboy: Rise of the Blood Queen, anyway - her presence was curiously downplayed in the first trailer, offering up only a brief sliver of her hammy British accent.

There's a most minuscule possibility this movie is goofy enough to make something interesting out of Jovovich, but it's far more likely she's the worst thing in it.
