"I'm Morgan Freeman, and now you will begin to read this page in my voice." Morgan Freeman's voice is perhaps one of the most well-known voices in the world, let alone in cinema. It's a favourite to impersonate by people who almost always undoubtedly fail at catching the same magic that is felt every time Freeman utters a sound. It's been mentioned before in this article but it is even truer now - the voice has bettered with age. It is rich, textured, warm and interesting, and managed to make us all care a lot more about penguins than we ever did by narrating March of the Penguins. He managed to out-charisma Bruce Wayne in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. He managed to do the seriously serious schtick in David Fincher's Se7en, proving that he isn't just a cool voice with no edge or grit. Morgan Freeman played God in Bruce Almighty, and now if any of us imagine what God would sound like, we cannot think of anyone else's voice except for Morgan Freeman's. His voice has graced the world of cinema since the 1960s, and hopefully will continue to for many more years to come. It's impossible to get tired of that voice. Enjoy the list?
