10 Actors You Didn't Know Were Coming Back For Movie Sequels

For many horror fans this one will be the most exciting entry on this list, as everyone's favourite slasher star Neve Campbell has confirmed she's in talks to star as resilient final girl Sidney Prescott once again in the upcoming Scream 5.

It's the first instalment of the franchise in years (MTV's TV show? Never heard of her) and will be the first sequel not directed by genre icon Wes Craven, who tragically passed away in 2015.

Not only has Campbell confirmed she's happy to return, she's joined by co-star David Arquette who will reportedly reprise his role as Dewey.

The film is coming from the helmers responsible for 2019's twisty horror comedy satire hybrid Ready or Not, so here's hoping they can make some room for the not-really-dead Hayden Panettiere and the maybe-technically-definitely-dead Matthew Lillard, since they're in the business of making fan dreams come true.
