Classing it more as something of a "last leg" than a "final act", this Fight Club, Snatch, and Ocean's Eleven icon quickly captured the attention of the masses in July when sitting down with GQ to talk about his epic run as an actor.

And with Brad Pitt heading towards the big 6-0, he openly admitted to the magazine:

“I consider myself on my last leg. This last semester or trimester. What is this section gonna be? And how do I wanna design that?"

And while he would rush to clarify this statement as not being an immediate retirement by any means, Pitt would ultimately add that "I'm like past middle age and I want to be specific how I spend those last bits, whatever they may be."

Those very much sound like the words of a superstar thespian who has most definitely done everything there is to do in this business and is likely just weighing up how best to spend his "last bits" of time as an actor in the limelight.

Sure, he likely won't be hanging it up before the end of the year. But this particular Pitt is clearly closer to quitting the life of an acting megastar than many may have realised before said GQ sit-down.
