10 Actors You Wrongly Think Are In Movies
2. Peter Serafinowicz - The World's End
If you believe IMDB, the great Peter Serafinowicz makes a brief cameo appearance in Edgar Wright's The World's End as a character dubbed "Knock-a-Door Run Home Owner."
Serafinowicz, who previously appeared in Wright's Shaun of the Dead, apparently portrays a man whose doorbell Gary King (Simon Pegg) rings and runs away from as a prank. The man in question then opens his door and angrily stares at Gary and his pals as they flee the scene.
Serafinowicz is suspiciously uncredited in the part, and if you do a little fact-checking yourself, it's extremely clear that the actor isn't Serafinowicz at all.
Sure, he bears a basic, superficial similarity in terms of facial features and general stature, but especially on the 4K release of the movie, it's very clearly not Peter Serafinowicz.
The lesson here? IMDB can be an amazing resource for movie information, but it's certainly not flawless.
