10 Actors You Wrongly Think Are In Movies
1. John Ratzenberger - Every Single Pixar Movie
Even casual moviegoers might well be aware that, since 1995, Pixar has had a "good luck charm" - a voice actor who has lent his vocals to every single one of their movies in one way or another.
And the actor in question is the great John Ratzenberger, best known in the Pixar sphere for voicing Hamm in the Toy Story quadrilogy, Yeti in the Monsters, Inc. films, The Underminer in both Incredibles movies, and Mack the truck in the Cars trilogy.
As a result, you likely took it for granted that Ratzenberger has continued to show up in Pixar movies one way or another, even if only in a small supporting capacity.
Yet Ratzenberger's 22-film streak was finally broken in 2020 when he didn't perform a voice role in Soul, and his only "involvement" in the movie was his likeness being used for a supporting character.
A simple blip in his ongoing collaboration with Pixar, perhaps? Not quite.
Since then, Ratzenberger hasn't voice-acted in any of the studio's subsequent films - Luca, Turning Red, or Lightyear - seemingly suggesting that the legendary partnership has come to an end.
It's never been publicly revealed why Ratzenberger's beloved string of cameos ended, though some have suggested that he may have cut ties with Pixar when former honcho John Lasseter did back in 2018.
No matter the reason, you probably assumed Ratzenberger was still doing his thing with Pixar, but alas, that's sadly not the case.
