10 Aging Actors Who Could Totally Pull Off An Action Comeback

3. Kurt Russell

Age: 64 If anyone can still pull off the hard man look in his 60s, it's Kurt Russell. At one time one of the most prominent action stars in Hollywood, Russell just seemed to drop off the map in the 2000s, to the point where new action fans were in danger of growing up not knowing about an action man who once went by names like Reno Hightower and Gabriel Cash. Lately, it's seemed like Russell is looking to make himself known again. A high-profile supporting role in a Tarantino movie - his second - and a cameo in whatever the latest Fast And Furious film is calling itself suggest Russell is eyeing up a return to tough guy cinema. And as any fan hopes, the former Snake Plissken would undoubtedly still work wonders headlining action movies. Even on the cusp of legal pensioner age, Russell is still a spry, wry son-of-a-bitch that you can't help but watch, transfixed. You still wouldn't want to fight this guy, and frankly, every passing day feels like a wasted one when you realise Russell isn't out there shooting bad men and basically crushing it as an action frontman.
