10 Almost Unfairly Likeable Actors

6. Emma Watson

I don't have a lot of reasons for putting Emma on this list, I just genuinely enjoy her as a human being. She seems like an incredibly smart person, who has always weighed very carefully the price of fame. During Harry Potter, she took time between each film to decide if that was what she really wanted to do. And now that she's made the decision that yes, she would like to continue to pursue acting, I think she has an appreciation for what she does that a lot of other child actors have missed out on. Emma has always come off as quite humble, almost unaware of her talent and beauty. I will always respect the fact that you can see her grow and change as an actor in Harry Potter -- it would have been easy for her to coast, being guaranteed a continued role in the franchise. But she developed and challenged herself, and by the last few films you can see an experienced and competent young actor. I think she picks interesting roles for herself, and is notable for the ones she doesn't choose as much as she does. Does everyone remember when, in response to the buzz about her being cast in Fifty Shades of Grey, she tweeted: "Who here actually thinks I would do 50 Shades of Grey as a movie? Like really. For real. In real life. Good. Well that's sorted then."? It's that lack of pretension that has earned her a special place in my heart forevermore.
