10 Alternate Timeline Movies The MCU Should Make

Secret Wars is one of the biggest crossovers in Marvel comics history, originally debuting in 1984. This featured not only countless heroes, but countless villains, all pitted against each other in Battleworld for the amusement of the big bad, The Beyonder.

For the MCU to adapt this into a movie would be incredibly ambitious, but that's what they said about the Infinity Saga, and look how that turned out. The Beyonder would be very similar to the Grandmaster but on a much, much larger scale, teleporting the heroes and villains of different timelines to battle each other in his own.

There is literally unlimited potential for the different characters and versions of characters that this could bring to the screen. The X-Men from their new timeline, Thanos from one of the 14 million timelines he won his war with the Avengers, and even Tony Stark from one of these scenarios in which he didn't snap himself.

This would be the ultimate what-if/alternate timeline movie for the MCU and is potentially the only way they can top Infinity War and Endgame as something to build towards in the future.
