What To Expect: Mass Effect by the Coens
Plot: Spike Spiegel is a bounty hunter in the year 2071 who searches the galaxy for intergalactic scum and high priced bounties with his trusted crew aboard his ship. When a deadly virus is released on the populace of Mars the government issue the largest bounty in history for the capture of the person responsible, Vincent Volaju. As the laid back Spike and his motley crew chase down Vincent they realise the bombing is more complicated than they thought and they are not the only ones hunting him down. The film takes its title from the iconic Bob Dylan track and the films villain Vincent is based on Dylan himself which all adds to the already psychedelic nature of the story (it deals with the blurred lines of reality and insanity) in director Shinichiro Watanabe's space opera. When you add to the mix the films kick-ass action scenes and epic scope you have a must-see space ballad
