10 Amazing Horror Movies You'll Never Watch Again

8. The Lighthouse

It’s not to say the film isn’t fantastic, but The Lighthouse is a bit of a one and done in a way. One you’ve gone through it the first time and experienced everything it has to offer, there’s not really much motivation to do it again.

Sure, it’s a bit wacky and it’s certainly not for everyone - though people probably already figured that out based on the fact that it’s in black and white and an almost square aspect ratio. With Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe in the lead roles we knew we were in for a wild ride. They’re a duo that nobody necessarily expected, but somehow a pairing that worked perfectly.

The film is easily one of the most atmospheric things I’ve ever seen, and the production design is impeccable. There’s plenty of intrigue and mystery and a certain amount of unexpected humour, so that your first and only watch is something genuinely very enjoyable. It’s not putting the film down at all to say you probably won’t rewatch it, but realistically you probably won’t.
