http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2I91DJZKRxs As if Carl Gottlieb's superb script for Jaws needed any help being awesome, but the scribe attests that one of cinema's most iconic lines came not from his pen, but the mind of star Roy Scheider. As Bruce (the name given to the animatronic shark by the crew) surfaces to try and take a bite out of an oblivious Brody, he steps back, and utters the unforgettable line. It's a perfectly-placed piece of levity in a scene that has terrified generations for the better part of the last four decades. It's another one of those brilliant lines that has been parodied in countless ventures, most bizarrely a commercial for tortilla chips and dip (which sadly I cannot find a clip of).
