9. Unnamed News Team Member (Anchorman)
When female newsreader Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate) is named as a co-anchor on the San Diego-based Channel 4 news team, the otherwise male-only members of the team become a little bit perturbed. In order to cheer themselves up, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), Champ Kind (David Koechner), Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and Brick Tamland (Steve Carell) decide to go out and buy themselves new suits. Unfortunately, the somewhat simple Brick is leading the way, which gets the news team lost. In a back alley in a shady area of time, they are confronted by Wes Mantooth (Vince Vaughn) and his rival Channel 9 news team. They are followed by several other news team and a full-on melee ensues. Although the fight is quite brutal, there are no serious casualties... except for one. Brick seemingly conjures a trident out of nowhere and throws it at an unnamed member of another news team. The trident hits him in the heart, he dies instantly and Brick lets out a hearty chuckle - as do the viewing audience.
