4. Stripe (Gremlins)
Having ran rampant on a small town with his fellow creatures in 1984's classic Gremlins, the leader of the little critters - Stripe - finds himself facing off with the protagonists Billy Peltzer (Zach Galligan) and Gizmo in a local department store. After having been very cruel to the incredibly cute Gizmo throughout the movie, Stripe's demise is a very, very satisfying one for the viewing audience. Stripe heads to the gardening section of the store and jumps into a fountain in order to multiply, but Gizmo sees that daylight is approaching and knowing that gremlins - and indeed himself - have a fatal reaction to sunlight, he opens the blinds on the store's window and promptly takes cover. This results in a messy death for the horrible Stripe, as he begins to slowly melt in to a repulsive goo in the very water he was trying to use to gain the upper-hand. It is only right that Gizmo - who felt guilty for being the source that inadvertently created the gremlins and was treated horribly by them - would be the one to finish them off.
