10 Ant-Man Trailer Easter Eggs You Might Have Missed

8. The Wasp

Speaking of Hope Van Dyne, Evangeline Lily's appearance in the teaser trailer was a nice surprise, wasn't it? After seemingly failing to capitalise on the success of Lost, in which she had a starring role, Lily appears to have dusted herself down and hopped right back on that horse, parlaying a role that was written specifically for The Hobbt films into another supporting part in Ant-Man. In this case, too, she's a character that's been created especially for the movie, and was never apparent in the source material. Well, that's not entirely true. The Van Dyne fanboys already know is Janet, Hanky Pym's long-suffering wife and apparently here the (deceased) mother of Hope. Hope has appeared in the comics, albeit in an alternate universe where she also had a brother, Henry. The boy became the rather unimaginative €œBig Man€ whileas Hope becomes Red Queen, also nabbing off with her parents' tech. Given the €œheist€ nature of Ant-Man, could her highness make herself know here too?
