10 Ant-Man Trailer Easter Eggs You Might Have Missed

7. Darren Cross

There's a whole lot of shuffling of names, titles and characters in the Ant-Man trailer, with Yellowjacket €“ a title that was briefly used by Hank Pym in the comics, since he goes through pseudonyms faster than Prince €“ apparently being adopted by Corey Stoll's character, the villainous Darren Cross. From the looks of things in the trailer, Cross is in control of Hank's company, possibly after a hostile takeover. In the comics, see, he is the owner of Cross Technological Enterprises (often referred to as Cross Tech or CTE), which is right up there with Stark Industries for groundbreaking technology and making a lot of money. His whole deal, though, was he had a bum ticker, and a failed attempt at a fancy pacemaker lead to him constantly having to €œreplace€ his heart. Which meant getting them by less-than-legal means. That's what eventually brought Scott Lang's Ant-Man up against Cross, hoping he'd have some technology that could help his daughter. It looks a little less clear-cut what the conflict is going to be in Ant-Man, based on the trailer, but Stoll's Cross also looks like a total goon, and one Pym wants to get back at.
