10 Army Of The Dead Easter Eggs You Totally Missed
2. The Magical Larry Fong
Larry Fong has been a creative mainstay in Snyder's filmography, with the cinematographer having lensed four of the director's films over the years. He has played a large role in defining Snyder's distinct visual style alongside the man himself and lent his talents to films directed by the likes of JJ Abrams and Shane Black.
He did not return for Army of the Dead as Snyder shot the film this time around (in addition to directing, writing, and producing duties). However, Zack still honoured his long-time collaborator by naming a seemingly popular Vegas magic act after the cinematographer. The act's poster can be seen as the heist crew is making its way into the zombie-infested city.
It is a nice nod to the cinematographer and does not detract from the story being told. As interesting as it was to see Snyder handle his film's photography, it would be nice to see Fong return to that role in the director's future projects.
