3. Doll Master

Doll Master is a Korean horror film with supernatural elements that was released in 2004. Written and directed by Jeong Yong-gi, the picture stars Kim Yoo-Mi, Ok Ji-young and Lee Ka-yeong. If you find dolls creepy, then this might be one to avoid, as the production is full of them!

The plot follows a group of young individuals, all aspiring artists, who have been chosen to stay at a remote mansion. They are told that during their stay, a doll will be made in their image by an artist who lives there, and during their stay, the friends begin to experience frightening and unsettling events. The property is full of life-like dolls that add a sinister feeling to the location.

If you like haunted dolls or killer toys, then this is definitely worth a go. Doll Master is extremely unnerving, in all the best ways, and has a solid backstory to justify much of the twisted, dark events that unfold in the production. It is scary, tense and satisfying.
