10 Avengers: Age Of Ultron Surprises That Could Happen

2. Avengers No More?

Rumors suggest that the Avengers won€™t remain very cohesive at the end of Age of Ultron, plus the next time we€™ll see many of these characters will be in Captain America: Civil War. And the trailer seems to support the notion of the team fracturing€”it opens with the Avengers laughing and enjoying each other€™s company, which suggests that Whedon will flip that dynamic on its head by the time the credits roll. There€™s also what promises to be an epic battle between the Hulk and Iron Man in his massive Hulkbuster armor. And the clip where Thor grabs Tony by the throat.

All this suggests that we€™ll be getting a very different team of Avengers for at least the first part of Infinity War. Age of Ultron could begin the fracturing of this team, which will probably continue through Civil War when Cap and Iron Man find themselves in opposition to each other. We€™ve certainly got enough characters to choose from€”Age of Ultron features all the Avengers from the first film in addition to Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, the Vision, and War Machine. Ant-Man will be introduced in his own film immediately following Age of Ultron, Black Panther makes his debut in Civil War, and that€™s also not counting the Falcon, who first appeared in The Winter Soldier.

Will Age of Ultron end with a completely different team of Avengers, or even two separate teams? And if so, what will those line-ups look like?
