Ultron has appeared in numerous stories throughout the Avengers fifty-plus years of history. But one of the greatest Ultron stories ever would have to be the one which occurred in the pages of Kurt Busieks Avengers run in the late 90s. Teamed with legendary Avengers artist George Perez, Busiek crafted what may be the quintessential Ultron story. An upgraded Ultron appears to the Avengers by destroying an entire nation and then constructing a robot army from the remains. And thats just the beginning. Ultron takes the members of the Avengers who constitute his family, planning to use their brainwaves as the seeds for a new race of artificial intelligence. The Avengers manage to prevail, of course. And right before the final confrontation with Ultron, we get this absolutely epic image of the Avengersdown but not outstanding face to face with their foe, and Thor uttering the immortal words: Ultron. We would have words with thee. Scenes like this prove that the Avengers truly are worthy of being called Earths Mightiest Heroes. And if there is ever a scene that should be adapted from any of the Ultron stories, it is most-certainly this one. How epic would it be to hear Chris Hemsworth saying those seven words with the rest of the Avengers standing behind him?
