10 Avengers: Age Of Ultron Surprises That Could Happen

9. A Trip To Wakanda

Among Marvel€™s Phase Three announcements was a particularly exciting choice€”Black Panther, a movie we€™ve been waiting a very, very long time to see. For the uninitiated, the Black Panther is King T€™Challa, the ruler of Wakanda, a secretive but very powerful nation in Africa. In the Marvel Universe, Wakanda is the most technologically-advanced nation on the face of the Earth, and they are also the world€™s largest provider of vibranium. If you remember when Steve got his shield in Captain America: The First Avenger, you€™ll know that vibranium is what it€™s made from€”one of the strongest and rarest metals on the planet. Chadwick Boseman has been confirmed as the Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War, but could he or at the very least Wakanda appear earlier than that? In the comics, Ultron€™s body is constructed from adamantium, which falls under Fox€™s X-Men rights (despite premiering first in the pages of The Avengers). Vibranium would be a good alternate choice for Ultron€™s frame, which means he€™ll need a large supply of it. This brings us to Andy Serkis. Although he€™s providing motion capture help for the film, he€™ll also have an as-yet-undisclosed role. The trailer shows the above image of Serkis, which strongly resembles a Marvel villain by the name of Ulysses Klaw. In the comics, Klaw is a physicist who steals vibranium from Wakanda in order to power his sonic transducer. Maybe in Age of Ultron, Klaw steals the vibranium not for himself, but for Ultron. That could mean a trip to Wakanda and pave the way for the Black Panther€™s appearance in Civil War.
