Paige in House of Wax is your typical slasher film bimbo, completely devoid of personality or really any redeeming features beyond how she looks, and Warner Bros. completely played up to this in the movie's marketing, well aware of Hilton's public perception when they cast her in the role. In fact, they even elected to spoil the fact that Hilton is killed in the movie prior to its release in the hope that more people would flock to see her gory demise; the film grossed almost double its budget, which isn't bad for an R-rated horror film. After running around scared out of her wits for several minutes, Paige cowers behind a car, peeks over the window and has a giant pole lobbed through her head in graphically brutal fashion. It gets better; she hits a fence and then falls forward, the pole hitting the ground and driving itself even further through her head, which the camera lingers lovingly on for everyone out there who hates Paris Hilton and every character she's ever played.
