10 Awesome Deleted Scenes That Should've Been Restored

8. Fifield's Alternate Mutation - Prometheus

Prometheus Fifield
Fox

The Scene: An alternate version of Fifield's (Sean Harris) mutation, where he more closely resembles a Xenomorph, what with his elongated head, super-human speed and incredible leaping abilities.

Why It Was Deleted: Considering how the final cut of Prometheus distanced itself from Alien compared to the original script, it's safe to say that Ridley Scott probably got cold feet about making such a definitive link between humans and Xenomorphs.

Why It Should've Stayed In: Because it's a much cooler scene and a perfect example of how well-executed CGI can enhance a scene. Fans wanted a movie that tied into Alien, and this very explicitly suggests that the black goo can turn humans into Xenos. Plus, Fifield looks less like a generic zombie and far more grotesquely terrifying.
