7. Tony Stark's Arc Reactor Uses Infinity Stone Energy
In the scene in the Avengers movie when Loki attempted to mind-control Tony Stark using his sceptre, Stark completed no-sold the attempt by virtue of the sceptre hitting the mini arc-reactor in his chest. Now, to most people, the reason this didn't work is because it didn't make contact with Stark's body, but some people have reasoned that, when Stark created the "new" element which powers his arc reactor, he actually created energy that already existed within the Infinity Stones and it only seemed "new" because it was alien to Earth. By virtue of the fact that the energies in the reactor would therefore have been the same as the ones Loki was trying to use to control Stark, he was insulated from the sceptre's effects. There is also the fact that Howard Stark studied the Tesseract and Tony may have used his father's research and inadvertently replicated the effects of the Tesseract without actually realising.
