3. The Stark Dynasty Has Controlled Pretty Much Everything That Has Happened

It is believed by some that the Stark dynasty has been aware of every major occurrence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe by virtue of the facts that they are in with the right people, have kept their eyes and ears firmly wide open and have actively been keeping track of everything going on around them with tracking devices. For example, Tony Stark bugged the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier in the Avengers movie. He therefore knew about HYDRA's infiltration, which is why he has been spending so much time with Bruce Banner - as both he and Banner were on the list created by Zola's algorithm to take out threats to the organisation. It is also believed by some that his father, Howard, hired Zola in the first place, commissioned the algorithm and was so dedicated to its cause and believed it to be right that he allowed himself to die, having seen his name was on the list. Some people even believe Howard started working with Anton Vanko because he knew Tony would be targeted in the future and he believed that, together, they could develop tech to help protect him. He also believed it would result in Tony and Anton's son - Ivan - working together to enhance this tech to further protect themselves (which, of course, didn't happen). That, of course, is just a snippet, but it gives an idea in to the kind of things the Stark family are believed to know about - and to what extent - by some fans.
