10 Awesome Fan Theories That Would Improve The Batman Films

7. Bruce Wayne Died At The End Of The Dark Knight Rises

There is a very popular theory that Alfred Pennyworth didn't actually see Bruce Wayne with Selina Kyle at all at the end of The Dark Knight; Alfred actually concocted an ideal scenario in his head, with Bruce having died at the end of the movie when he hauled the bomb over the bay. Expanding on this theory to a level closer to ludicrousness, some people also think that Batman's whole life was concocted by Alfred, with Bruce having actually died as a child when he fell down a well in the grounds of Wayne Manor, and Alfred simply imagined him growing into "the hero that Gotham needed", feeling guilty about not being able to save him. Of course, Bruce Wayne/Batman dying isn't a good thing, so how could it possibly improve the movies? Well because the actual ending seemed so inauthentic - Bruce Wayne wouldn't turn his back on being Batman, Selina Kyle was by no means the woman he was meant to end up with and there really is no conceivable way he could have survived the blast of the bomb.
