10 Awesome Hidden Details You Completely Missed In Action Movies
1. Baby Driver - A Familiar Looking Postcard
Throughout Edgar Wright's Baby Driver (2017) a great deal of time is spent in Bo's Diner.
On top of it being the place where Baby's (Ansel Elgort) mother used to work, it's also the location where he initially meets waitress Debora (Lily James), and it's during this early encounter that an important image is seen for the first time in the movie.
On one of the diner's walls, a couple can be spotted in a car driving down Route 66 as the sun sets.
Outside of the scenes set in the diner, the mural actually sneakily appears one more time at the very end of the feature.
After Baby has been sentenced to twenty-five years in prison - subject to a parole hearing after five - the getaway driver receives a number of postcards from Debora as she insists on keeping in contact with him. It's here where we find out Baby's real name is Miles, and he then chooses to stick one specific postcard on his mirror to keep him going until he is free.
The very same mural we see on the back wall of Bo's Diner is printed on said postcard, simultaneously reminding Baby of his mother's old workplace, where he first met Debora and what he plans to do once he's a free man again.
Who knew a little old postcard could mean so much?
