10 Awesome Hidden Details You Completely Missed In Action Movies

2. The Town - Jem Correctly Foreshadows The Team's Fate

Ben Affleck's action crime thriller The Town (2010) tells the story of a group of lifelong buddies from Charlestown, Boston, who rob banks in the area.

As the film progresses, the team eventually attempt one last job which involves them stealing a ton of money from Fenway Park. It's here where Doug (Affleck) and Jem (Jeremy Renner) disguise themselves as police officers and break into the money room in the famous building.

As the pair begin to pack the cash into duffle bags, one of the workers they've tied up in the room is heard telling them, 'You think you're going to get out of here? I've got friends in the guards at Warpole. They'll make your lives rip ass hell.'

Jem then responds by telling him, 'Don't you worry about it, old timer. No one's going to prison.'

As it turns out, he was right.

In the end, Jem, Dez (Owen Burke) and Gloansy (Slaine) all die during the attempted robbery, and Doug eventually escapes and flees to live in Florida.

What at first seemed like nothing more than a cocky claim from a smart-ass Jem, turned out to be a harrowing piece of foreshadowing when it comes to the majority of the team's eventual fates.
