8. Army Of Darkness: The Alternate Ending
After his chainsaw-wielding romp through the Middle Ages ended in triumph, Bruce Campbell's Ash made it safely home to return to work at the S-Mart and kill one final Deadite before the end credits rolled. All hail the king!
But there's an alternate ending to Army of Darkness, and it's utterly bonkers. In this cut, our hero takes too much sleeping potion and wakes up in a post-apocalyptic world where mankind appears to be extinct.
Although this ending would have been better fit for the movie's madcap tone, it would have given the Ash vs Evil Dead TV show a major timeline headache to resolve.
Still, it would have been interesting to see how Sam Raimi would have resolved this cliffhanger had the ending been canon and another cinematic sequel greenlit.
