If a man like James Bond was ever sent into the field by the real secret service, his obvious sex addiction, alcoholism and all-round sadistic attitude (who makes a quip after theyve just killed a man?) would have M telling superiors hes gone a bit rogue, at best. At worst, hed be tossed in the Maudsley mental hospital for displaying staggering sociopathic tendencies. Forever. Bonds a man full of issues his parents died when he was young and the only two women he ever truly loved died brutally and it calls into question the hiring process at MI6.
