I'm pretty sure Selleck was born with a moustache, given how alien he looked when he shaved it off, and his is the type of professional growth that really communicates confidence. The Selleck-wearing man is at home with himself and his moustache, and no flourishes or ostentatious designs are needed to show that fact off. It's not particularly hard to grow a Selleck, provided you have the time, but it has to be embraced as a way of life, even beyond the time when other people stop growing moustaches and it becomes somewhat ironic. You're fine with your image, because you're a strong, virile man. Who will probably also wear floral Hawaiian shirts all year round.
