10 Awesome Movie Scenes Trapped In Awful Movies

Batman V Superman is a movie full of standout moments that don't gel to form a strong package. The film has been heavily debated by fans in the years since its release, but critically and box-office wise, it marked the point where the DCEU's prospects took a turn for the worse.

But one thing a lot of people agreed on was that Ben Affleck's buff, brutal portrayal of Batman was great, with this version of the Caped Crusader having zero issues with killing people. That notable trait proved to be a divisive choice, but it did result in a blood-pumping fight sequence set inside a gloomy, washed-up warehouse.

Feeling like a ripoff of the Arkham game series in all the right ways, Batman's unmatched physical prowess is on full display here, as he practically dances through an army of low-rent goons who just don't stand a chance. It's an amazing sight to behold, jammed full of numerous punch-the-air-with-joy moments: an explosion blooming behind Bats as he drops some bone-crunching punches; the shot of him surrounded by a circle of thugs, effortlessly taking them on at the same time; and that bit where he grapple-throws a giant wooden box at someone's head.

Oh. Yes.

BvS is a piping hot mess overall, but it managed to deliver us an awesome, hard-hitting version of Batman that we'd never witnessed on the silver screen before.
