10 Awesome Movies That Have Aged Horribly

7. Space Jam

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5qLMuXylgU Yes, Space Jam was only released in 1996, yet - and brace yourself - that's almost 20 years ago now. Time flies, and though I grew up being a huge Space Jam fan like just about every single kid out there, watching the film recently reveals that, really, it's just not that good anymore. The teaming of Michael Jordan with the Looney Tunes seems like a cynical ploy now that I'm an adult, but more alarmingly, the mixture of live action and animation doesn't hold up well at all. Given how amazing the far older Who Framed Roger Rabbit? still looks, there's not really an excuse for this either, other than the fact that they rushed this film out for a quick profit. As an adult, the story is risible, Michael Jordan is no actor, the music is totally cheesy, and simply, the film appears to have lost a lot of its lustre even if I still enjoy it due to nostalgia. If you want to preserve those childhood memories, I recommend that you never watch Space Jam again.
