10 Awesome Movies That STILL Aren't On Blu-Ray

8. Twins

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito unexpectedly became Hollywood's funniest dynamic duo when they headlined Ivan Reitman's Twins in 1988. In case the title didn't give it away, the pair portrayed twin brothers who were separated at birth and upon their reunion, discovered how, well, different they were.

Despite the major success that the film enjoyed (it garnered over $216 million worldwide), it was never released on Blu-Ray.

Of course, you could make the usual arguments in defense of this, like the fact that a dated '80s comedy doesn't need to be remastered because, at the end of the day, it was never exactly renowned for its visuals - especially when you factor in the other films that an action star like Schwarzenegger has starred in over the years. That, however, doesn't change the fact that Twins is one of both his and DeVito's most enjoyable offerings, so you can rest assured that fans of both legendary performers would appreciate the opportunity to add this to their Blu-Ray collection.

The film itself could do with a remaster and a Blu-Ray release would undoubtedly sharpen up some of those delightful shots of downtown L.A. while restoring some much-needed colour to the unusually dark night scenes.

If anything, Twins deserves a Blu-Ray release just so we can finally admire the striking family resemblance between these lovable siblings or, at the very least, find out if the pavement truly was that guy's enemy.
