9. Everyone Dies - Ghost Ship

Ghost Ship is for the most part, like Deep Blue Sea, a lame-brained B-movie without a whole lot going for it. However, you won't figure this out for at least five minutes of the film, as the opening scene features one of the most brilliantly over-the-top death scenes in horror movie history. A razor-sharp steel cable cuts through an entire party on-board the boat (save for a little girl who is too short), resulting in a super-awesome moment as they all collapse to the floor in pieces, while the girl simply watches on in sheer horror. Adding to the awesomeness is a brief shot of a woman, somehow still alive, staring at her own detached lower torso. Unfortunately, the film is never as ingenious as its opening scene...
