10 Awesome Star Wars: Duel Of The Fates Moments We'll Never Get To See
3. The Fall Of General Hux
Throughout the sequel trilogy, Hux always had the potential to be an interesting character, but never quite made the impact he could have. His almost childish resentment toward Kylo Ren led to an unlikely betrayal of the First Order, and an underwhelming death scene.
Though the First Order would have fallen victim to a traitor in their ranks in Duel of the Fates, this would have been a character named Bisc Kova rather than Hux. The General would have stayed loyal to the cause almost to the end.
As Finn's revolution from below overwhelmed the stormtroopers on the ground, and Leia's forces in the sky attacked the First Order's Coruscant headquarters, Hux realised the fight was lost. Rather than suffer the consequences that would have come with this defeat, whether it be the wrath of Kylo Ren or the punishment from the victorious resistance, Hux committed suicide.
Taking a lightsaber he had kept hidden away, the General put himself to the sword as the First Order around him fell to its knees. This would have been an incredibly powerful image as someone as proud as Hux finally admitted defeat.
