The Trailer: It can be challenging to gauge just what the hell 9 is actually about from the trailers. Its really just visually mesmerizing as it shows off nine cloth dolls banding together to take down all sorts of evil machinery. What really pushes the trailer towards fascination though is the action packed animated post-apocalyptic wasteland set to Welcome Home by famous metal band Coheed And Cambria.
Why Is It Terrible: Honestly speaking, this entry is not as terrible as other selections but the movie leaves a lot to be desired. It was visually gorgeous as expected but lacking everywhere else including excitement and pacing. 9 feels more suited to be a video game if anything (no that is not a Little Big Planet jab). As is the movie just cannot match the excitement that the trailer evokes.
