The very complexion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is set to change dramatically over the course of the next few years - and that will include drastic alterations to the Avengers themselves. Characters will die, divisions will be formed, new characters will be introduced and the line-up will undoubtedly change as a result - in fact, the franchise may well see more than one Avengers team emerge, as there have been various sub-teams over the years (Mighty Avengers, Secret Avengers, New Avengers, West Coast Avengers etc), and Daredevil may well end up on one of them. He will, of course, be a member of the Defenders first, but the fact that he has been a member of the New Avengers in the comic books (along with Luke Cage and Jessica Jones, incidentally, who will both be on his Defenders team in the MCU) means it shouldn't be ruled out that he might eventually do the same in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
