10 Awful 2013 Films You'll Never Watch Again

6. A Good Day To Die Hard

A Good Day to Die Hard was the sequel that everyone feared would eventually happen to the Bruce Willis-starring franchise. Everything special about Die Hard was stripped away, leaving another dumbed down, idiotic action movie with an unnecessarily convoluted plot.

After running out of ideas, the writer of this movie sends John McClane to Russia to help out his estranged son, Jack (Jai Courtney). Jack was arrested and wants to testify against a corrupt politician, Viktor Chagarin, who of course will not allow this to happen. Explosions happen, John and Jack are betrayed, more explosions, they go to Chernobyl, and oh yeah, more explosions. And since this all takes place in Russia, there are nuclear weapons involved, since that seems to be the only cliche that these action movie writers can run with.

John McClane is turned from an ordinary middle-class police detective into a Rambo-like action God who will never die (hard). There are ways they can redeem this once great franchise but if they put out another movie like this again, the audiences may be completely done with this series. I honestly hope they do at least one more so they don€™t end this series on such a low-note. It would be such a bummer to see John McClane go out like this.
