10 Awful 2017 Horror Movies To Avoid This Halloween

10. Flatliners

Yet the latest attempt to rejuvenate a cult classic horror movie with a belated "sequel" nobody asked for, Flatliners is more-or-less a remake of the original 1990 Joel Schumacher film, but without any of the style, intrigue or mere reason to exist.

Ellen Page and the rest of the cast give passable enough performances, but from the lack of tension through to the abundance of unintentional comedy (namely Kiefer Sutherland's absurd, white-haired cameo), it is a hugely inferior retooling in every way.

Arriving as it did last month with zero hype and some of the year's worst reviews, though, there's a good chance you're smart enough to avoid this nonsense (probably).
